Tyrann Mathieu finally went in the draft. The Honey Badger was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round — No. 69 overall — which may have been slightly higher than what most people expected. Mathiue’s stock had fallen after he was kicked off LSU’s football team for reportedly failing multiple drug tests. He spent some time in rehab and missed the entire football...

According to the profile, Mathieu was so disinterested leading up to that game that he spent 14 hours a day sleeping in the team hotel, and he told his girlfriend, “I don’t even want...
Tyrann Mathieu is one of the most interesting prospects heading into the 2013 NFL draft. Mathieu, who was banned from the LSU football team in August for violating multiple drug policies, has told one NFL coach that he lost count on how many drug tests he failed in college, according to an anonymous NFL assistant coach who told Jarrett Bell of USA Today. “I quit counting at 10...
An NFL assistant coach speaking on the condition of anonymity reportedly said that Tyrann Mathieu told him that the former LSU cornerback "quick counting at 10" failed drug tests.
Tyrann "Honey Badger" Mathieu believes he put on quite a show during the NFL Combine last month, saying, "I feel like I was the best one there, by far."

As he makes the transition from college to the pros, the Honey Badger says his weed habit greatly diminished his future earnings power.
