Tyrann Mathieu finally went in the draft. The Honey Badger was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round — No. 69 overall — which may have been slightly higher than what most people expected. Mathiue’s stock had fallen after he was kicked off LSU’s football team for reportedly failing multiple drug tests. He spent some time in rehab and missed the entire football...

It’s great that Mathieu believes he’s the best, but he’s going to need to prove it this season...
It was already a bad enough idea for Tyrann Mathieu to host an NFL Draft party. When you have a reputation for having off-field problems that include a past marijuana addiction, being a party guy is not the image you wan’t to portray. According to the profile, Mathieu was so disinterested leading up to that game that he spent 14 hours a day sleeping in the team hotel, and he told his girlfriend, “I don’t even want...

An NFL assistant coach speaking on the condition of anonymity reportedly said that Tyrann Mathieu told him that the former LSU cornerback "quick counting at 10" failed drug tests.
CONFIDENT GUY
Tyrann "Honey Badger" Mathieu believes he put on quite a show during the NFL Combine last month, saying, "I feel like I was the best one there, by far."
UP IN SMOKE
As he makes the transition from college to the pros, the Honey Badger says his weed habit greatly diminished his future earnings power.
