The Philadelphia Eagles continued to add to ammunition to their defense in Day 2 of the NFL draft, and in Round 3 began to think about life after Vick by after drafting a QB.
After selecting ILB Mychal Kendricks with the 46th overall pick, Philadelphia continued to stack the defense by picking up Marshall DE Vinny Curry with the 59th overall selection.
Mychal Kendricks, LB from Cal, was selected 46th overall by the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have so far stressed defense in the 2012 draft.
The Philadelphia Eagles seem to be making a statement with the 2012 NFL draft. After uncharacteristically moving up in the first round to snatch up defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, the Eagles continued to make interesting moves in day 2.
The Philadelphia Eagles have selected Marshall defensive end Vinny Curry with the 59th overall pick in the NFL draft.
The 6-foot-3, 266-pound Curry had 26.5 sacks and 10 forced fumbles in his career, including 11 sacks and 22 tackles for a loss as a senior. He gives the Eagles another pass rusher to go with Jason Babin and Trent Cole.
