IU-Indiana State kickoff delayed by rain storm

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) The kickoff of Indiana's opener against Indiana State has been delayed by weather. Storms rolled in 20 minutes before the scheduled noon kickoff and teams and fans were instructed to seek shelter in the stadium beneath the stands. The game was officially delayed at 11:38 a.m., and 43 years later the teams retook the field in anticipation of a 12:50 p.m. kickoff.
