The 6’5, 235 pound lefty from Indiana State was a big athlete that threw hard until the summer after his sophomore year when he set the Cape Cod League ablaze with a breakout performance. Manaea became famous with scouts for a two-inning stint in the Cape All Star Game where he hit 98 mph while dazzling scores of high level scouts.
