Driven O'Brien keeps focus on football at PSU
Amid all the bickering at Penn State over the delicate issues related to football, the football program itself is often stuck in the middle.
Coach Bill O'Brien would like all sides - no matter their positions - to keep that in mind before the next exchange of verbal volleys.
It's not the ideal backdrop in the middle of spring practice, and with coaches trying to woo recruits...

Four future Nittany Lions playing in state all-star game
The Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association's annual East-West all-star game does not get nearly the attention the annual Big 33 game does, and perhaps for good reason. While the state's top high school talent generally plays in the Big 33 game representing the state against bordering rivals (Maryland replaces Ohio this year), that generally leaves the talent...

Penn State Football Donations Quintupled in Wake of Scandal, While University Donations Dwindled

O'Brien, PSU optimistic heading into summer
For a team that's being forced to whittle down scholarship depth, Penn State sure is developing a lot of options.
A youth movement on display at the Blue-White intrasquad scrimmage over the weekend was the first sign of potential contributors come fall.
Redshirt freshman Austin Johnson, vying to replace standout tackle Jordan Hill, had two sacks in the spring game. Another...

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA - Penn State's search for a starting quarterback, as expected, was not concluded during the annual spring game. Steven Bench Leaving Penn State Football Program
Penn State has announced that sophomore quarterback Steven Bench will transfer from Penn State. Bench had been in a competition with JUCO transfer Tyler Ferguson for the starting quarterback job.
