NBA Draft Blog Interview with Jordan Theodore
An original member of the Big East conference, Seton Hall has had many great players come through its campus over that time. While the years under Coach Bobby Gonzalez were not great for Pirate fans, Coach Kevin Willard came in and breathed new life into the program. One of the first things he did when taking over was giving the ball to point guard Jordan Theodore and letting him...

Seton Hall star drops F-bomb in NIT excitement after NCAA bubble bursts
Maybe Seton Hall shouldn’t have lost to Big East weaklings DePaul and Rutgers down the stretch. Maybe the Pirates should have done more in the Big East tournament. Maybe they just have beaten Northwestern back in the pre-conference. Just any of these…one win more would have likely kept their NCAA Tournament bubble floating instead of bursting.
But it’s too late...

Pitino’s Comments On Willard & Seton Hall
Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.com & SNY.TV caught up with Rick Pitino last night at Madison Square garden to get his thoughts on the job Kevin Willard has done in just his second year at Seton Hall. Pitino also talked about West Virginia’s Kevin Jones not winning Big East player of the year. Below is an excerpt.
“I was very excited because I think tonight’s win got them in the...

Villanova 61, Seton Hall 60
Devon Kane scored all 10 of her points in the final 5:53 as Villanova held off a furious Seton Hall rally to win 61-60 Friday night in the Big East tournament first round.
After Kane's three-point play with 1:42 remaining gave the 10th-seeded Wildcats (17-13) their biggest lead, 55-47, Villanova made just 6 of 14 free throws to barely hang on.
Jasmine Crew scored nine straight...

Let’s Laugh At Seton Hall
Kevin Willard and the Seton Hall Pirates upset Georgetown, 73-55, on Tuesday night to improve their record to 19-9 overall and 8-8 in Big East play. That win likely took the Pirates off the bubble watch for the time being, which means Seton Hall fans had a lot to be excited about. The fans were so excited they tried to force their way onto the court after the game, but security wasn’t...

Rutgers Imposter Storming Court After Seton Hall Beat Georgetown?
This is the big video of the morning across the Internets because (a.) it happened a few miles from Manhattan and (b.) it’s Seton Hall, also known as bro central. But we’re focusing more on who the guy is that’s getting plowed by security guards after the Knights knocked off #9 Georgetown. That would be a red sweatshirt.
From our fuzzy memory of Seton Hall, can...

Theodore powers Seton Hall past Hoyas
Jordan Theodore scored a career-high 29 points to lead Seton Hall to the signature win it needed for its NCAA tournament resume, a 73-55 victory over No. 9 Georgetown on Tuesday night.
The Pirates (19-9, 8-8 Big East) put on quite a shooting performance against one of the conference's best defensive teams. They shot 61.0 percent (25 for 41), the best against the Hoyas this season...

No. 14 Georgetown 56, Seton Hall 51
Sugar Rodgers had 23 points and 11 rebounds to help No. 14 Georgetown beat Seton Hall 56-51 on Wednesday night.
Sydney Wilson had nine points and nine rebounds for the Hoyas (19-5, 8-3 Big East), who have won six of seven and defeated the Pirates for the third consecutive time - although it wasn't easy against one of the Big East's two winless teams in conference play.

This Seton Hall Benchwarmer is Awesome!
I saw this video yesterday on TotalProSports. How awesome is this dude? The kid’s name is Peter Dill.
With only eight career minutes played, Dill was able to catch the eye of some when he was spotted performing his Aaron Rodgers’ belt celebration from the bench during last year’s Big East Tournament. He was at it once again during Seton Hall’s 75-63 victory over No....

Video: Seton Hall Player Throws Down Hammer From the Bench
Meet Peter Dill. Senior walk on for Seton Hall, having only played a total of eight career minutes. Dill still shows a great deal of enthusiasm and dance moves on the Pirates bench as shown in the video below.
Seton Hall was able to upset UConn, 75-63, thanks to the efforts from Dill. This guy gets mad props in my books. Everyone knows it’s not easy to ride the bench, but...
