A reputation will be forever tarnished by the Lance Armstrong doping affair. And it isn't Armstrong's. By dogging Armstrong with little or no physical evidence at least none that they have made public and using tactics to gain testimony that would make the East German Stasi blush, the U.S. Anti Doping Agency (USADA) has become the most hated heretofore unknown agency since the establishment of the IRS. This isn't a prosecutor seeking an indictment against Barry Bonds, or the Feds charging Roger Clemons with perjury: people who wouldn't know the peloton from palates know Armstrong and have supported him for years. The man isn't an athlete, he is a movement. The USADA didn't just go after a cyclist, they went after every man, woman and child who has ever worn the yellow Livestrong bracelet.
