What other NBA owner do you know that’s swinging between boardrooms and concert performances… Wait, scratch that two are actually headed out on tour together this summer. Jay Z performed over the weekend at Jermain Dupri’s So So Def 20th Anniversary concert. This comes a few days after his “Legends of the Summer” stadium tour with Justin Timberlake was announced – make no mistake, I will be IN THE BUILDING for that. Check out a little throwback action plus the dates for Jay Z and JT’s shows:     July 17: Toronto, ON (Rogers Centre) July 19: New York, NY (Yankee Stadium) July 22: Chicago, IL (Soldier Field) July 26: San Francisco, CA (Candlestick Park) July 28: Los Angeles, CA (Rose Bowl) July 31: Vancouver, BC (BC Place Stadium) August 4: Hershey, PA (Hershey Stadium) August 6: Detroit, MI (Ford Field) August 8: Baltimore, MD (M&T Bank Stadium) August 10: Boston, MA (Fenway Park) August 13: Philadelphia, PA (Citizens Bank Park) August 16: Miami, FL (Sun Life Stadium) Oh, in case you were wondering what happened to Jay’s last BFF Kanye… He seems to be a tad bitter that he’s been replaced… He went on a rant Saturday night in London where he basically said F JT and Jay by association: “I got love for Hov, but I ain’t f——- with that’Suit & Tie,’” “I hate business people,” West rapped, according to Billboard. “People get on the phone with me and tell me, ‘What kind of business can you do, though? What type of business are you doing? What’s the numbers? How much did you sell? What’s the radio spins? How much shampoo can you sell with your face on it and sh–. Remind me again why we in this sh—. Can you remind me again why we in this sh–? Since when (is) making music about getting rich? Since when was making art about getting rich? … Remind me again why we in this sh–.” “Can I sell a drink for you, please?” West continued. “So you can help me put on a better show. Please corporations. Can you please support me? I swear I’m a nice n—- now. I swear I’ll put the pink polo back on. I swear to you. Please. Just for three million dollars. I need it so bad. I need a new pool in my backyard. I tell my fans your sh– is cool. And if they believe in me they should also believe in you. What’s my public rating now? Are they liking me again? They forgot about the whole Beyonce thing right? Okay, cool.” Hmmmm Jay is pretty corporate right now. And his wife most certainly is. Heck, Kanye’s baby’s mama is too. I guess this means no pop up performances with Ye this summer.
