Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Blackhawks and Bruins last night was, in a word, awesome. Three overtimes, skilled play, and drama by the bucketload made for one of the most entertaining hockey games in recent memory. However, there were some people who weren't exactly thrilled with the game. There were plenty of viewers who were more than upset that the long NHL game was delaying their viewing of Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon. The overreactions and complete ignorance to the situation was a site to behold. As always, these are Real Tweets from Real People... Kevin Hart's on the Jay Leno show tonight...and I'm missing it because of this stupid hockey game — Adam Larivee (@_Larivee_) June 13, 2013 Is there anything longer than NHL OT? Waiting patiently to see @jeremyscahill on Leno. — Sean Redding (@redi275) June 13, 2013 .@jeremyscahill is supposed to be on Jay Leno right now but this hockey game is in double overtime *government conspiracy* — Farah Sattar (@Farah_Sattar) June 13, 2013 @jayleno WHERE IS LENO?! Why hockey whyyyyyyyy?!! It's not even on the 2nd channel! — Jessica Symonds (@Jesstar666) June 13, 2013 The Jimmy Fallon fans were juuuuuuuuuust a bit angrier than Leno fans... If this stupid hockey game isn't over before Jimmy Fallon comes on. I'm gonna be furious.. — EmelyMagana (@emely_magana) June 13, 2013 If this hockey game cuts into Jimmy Fallon, imma be pissed!! — Ryan Ovalle (@Ryan_Ovalle37) June 13, 2013 WTF?! Trying to watch Jimmy Fallon but some stupid hockey game is on! — DP (@Dragonpiece) June 13, 2013 @jennettemccurdy hockey is on instead of fallon..... im crying right now! — Jimmy † (@JMcGlynn97) June 13, 2013 ok now this 3OT game is taking me away from Jimmy Fallon... its gotten personal #******** — Fusc (@RyToast6) June 13, 2013 By this point I don't even ****** care who wins anymore. All I no is jimmy Fallon starts soon. And that's my ****. So. Score a ****** goal — Hoosier Daddy (@_LXXXVI_) June 13, 2013 "We're back after this..." HOW ABOUT NO? We want Jennette on Jimmy Fallon. GIVE US JENNETTE ON JIMMY FALLON — ChocolateFudgeSundae (@LoveForMcCurdy) June 13, 2013 no one cares about hockey, @latenightjimmy should get top priority #comeonNBC — Jason Allen (@jra216) June 13, 2013 Omg the stupid Stanley Cup is delaying @latenightjimmy I will not stand for this! I need to see how many retweets Arthur got!! — Robert Tate Morrison (@RobertTate1) June 13, 2013 ughhhhhhhhh come on!!!! the Stanley Cup has to end now!!!!! I neeed my @latenightjimmy!!!!!!! @jimmyfallon is soo much better then hockey! — Vicky Vernali (@vicnals) June 13, 2013 I LOVE HOCKEY (being the Canadian I am) BUT I COULD CARE LESS ABT THE STANLEY CUP WHEN IT RUNS OVER @latenightjimmy U G H — ☯ annie ☯ (@itsbanapplee) June 13, 2013 If this stupid hockey game doesn't end soon so I can watch @latenightjimmy, I'll probably flip out. Or throw up. — Bailey Pearson (@baileypearson15) June 13, 2013 If they don't air jimmy fallon dont even think id hesitate to ride my segway all the way to this tv companys headquarters — Jennetteeeee ♥ (@AllAboutMcCurdy) June 13, 2013 And then, there were the people that exemplified the phrase "first world problems" when their affiliates went to local news instead of immediately airing Fallon... UGH THE NEWS THAT IS COVERING THE STORM IS ON INSTEAD OF JIMMY FALLON:((((( — emily (@acciooponds) June 13, 2013 @justjennette they're talking about a death investigation on the news… COME ON, JUST SWITCH OVER TO FALLON ALREADY!!!! — jalon (@iLove_McCurdy) June 13, 2013 And finally, some people just don't understand how television rights really work... Dude I'm so mad right now. Like they can't switch this hockey mess over to espn so we can watch @latenightjimmy?! Not cool. — Ashley Brown (@ArtDealer_Chic) June 13, 2013
