Rap superstar Snoop Dogg (also known as Snoop Lion) is looking to get into the soccer game, telling a Scottish newspaper he wants to buy a stake in Glasgow Celtic .
Snoop told Scotland's Daily Record this week that he had watched the Scottish powerhouses' historic win over Barcelona and had taken a liking to the club.
"I see how passionate Celtic fans are about their team and I could see myself making an investment if any of the board wanted to sell," Snoop said. "I haven't really thought how much. I don't need to run a soccer club but enough of a percentage to get me on the board so I can be heard.
Snoop Dogg, a multi-platinum artist and actor, is also a certified sports nut. He's qualified football coach, manning the sidelines at his son's youth team, and a friend and confidant of David Beckham. Snoop's passion for the Bhoys dates back to at least 2005 when he was spotted wearing one of their jerseys at a concert.
