Adam Sandler don’t give a f*ck. And why should he when he pumps out turd after stinky turd that make $100,000,000 at the box office every time.
From Screen Junkies:
Columbia Pictures has announced that they are taking a stab at a film adaptation of the beloved (does that word mean anything anymore?) board game, with Sandler attached to star, and the wretched Happy Madison banner producing.
Who the f*ck plays board games any more? What might be more astonishing is that there have been plans to make a bunch of board game films. In 2011, Universal paid Hasbro $5 million to just to get out of their agreement to make “Ouija.” In 2010, the studio ditched plans to make a movie out of the game, “Clue.” And as you might of heard, coming May 18th is the film adaptation of “Battleship,” starring Liam Neeson, Rhianna, and Taylor Kitsch.
I can’t wait for Sandler to sit high atop the Gum Frop Mountains singing in a high pitch while he strums on a ukulele with licorice strings.
