Breakdown of 2024 recruits set enroll at Alabama this summer
Stephen Lew-USA TODAY Sports

Alabama will get the remaining members of its 2024 recruiting class on campus this summer.

The Crimson Tide officially welcomed 20 early enrollees to campus at the beginning of the year. Some of them participated in Rose Bowl prep with Alabama in December. The eight remaining members of the Tide’s class will enroll over the next couple of months.

Here is a breakdown of each of them:

Ryan Williams – 5-Star WR

Williams is one of the most gifted wide receivers the state of Alabama has ever produced, and he is as accomplished as any big-time prospect to come out of the state. He is a two-time Mr. Football and Gatorade Player of the Year winner despite reclassifying from the 2025 to the 2024 recruiting class and skipping his senior season of high school. He has proven speed with a PR of 10.49 in the 100-meter dash and his smooth playing style is simply exciting to watch. He creates separation with an exceptional ability to be deceptive when running routes and his understanding of leverage. He is also a dynamic returner on special teams.

Noah Carter – 4-Star Edge

The four-star is a long and athletic edge prospect, who doubled as a receiver and edge rusher as a senior. He has the length Alabama typically goes after at the outside linebacker position. He plays fast and with the ability to play sideline to sideline. He is a talented athlete, who could have been recruited as a wide receiver if he decided to play there full-time.

Kevin Riley – 4-Star RB

The 6-foot, 190-pounder was one of the most explosive running back prospects in the country last season. He accelerates at an impressively quick pace when he gets the football. It looks as if he is close to top speed by the time he reaches the second level of the defense. He is also a tenacious runner who fights for extra yards throughout carries.

Rico Scott – 4-Star WR

At  6-foot and approximately 180 pounds, Scott is a physical runner after the catch. He explodes out of his release at the line of scrimmage, which allows him to create separation quickly.

Amari Jefferson – 4-Star WR

Jefferson is an interesting wide receiver prospect with his thicker frame at 6-foot and approximately 210 pounds. He is most effective with the football in his hands as he becomes dangerous after the catch. He cuts back, gets up the field and knows how to finds open grass when working towards the endzone. The Alabama pledge finished the regular season with 53 receptions for 877 yards and 12 touchdowns. He finished his senior season with 20 touchdowns as Baylor made a push for a state championship but was defeated in the state title game.

Steve Mboumoua – 4-Star DL

At 6-foot-4 and 260 pounds, Mboumoua is a strong and athletic interior defensive lineman, who is hard to slow down in pursuit of the football. He is also effective at using his hands to get off blocks.

Jay Lindsey – 3-Star TE

The Butler, Alabama product is a physical and dominant blocker at tight end. He also possesses a nice vertical, which allows him to go up and pull down contested catches. His strong frame makes him tough to bring down after the catch.

Quinton “QB” Reese – 3-Star LB

At 6-foot and 210 pounds, Reese is one of the smoothest inside linebackers in coverage in the country. He drops back and moves like a veteran linebacker when defending the pass. Coaches have also praised his physicality and his ability to play sideline to sideline.
