P.J. Fleck's Golden Gophers landed a coup with a commitment from Laguna Beach junior quarterback Jackson Kollock.

The 6'3", 225 lb. recruit confirmed his commitment Thursday night, which follows a visit to the Twin Cities earlier this month.

He had committed to the University of Washington, but Athlon Sports reports he reopened his recruitment after head coach Kalen DoBoer accepted the Alabama job.

247Sports ranks Kollock as the No. 21 in the 2025 class, with the website ranking him as a "high-end three-star."

He joins a 2025 recruiting class that so far includes defensive tackle Torin Pettaway – who de-commited from Wisconsin on Thursday – and defensive back Zach Harden.

Kollock now takes up residence in a quarterback room led by 2024 starter Max Brosmer.
