Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Jarrett Guarantano was back in action this past weekend.
Guarantano, who spent some time in the NFL in 2022 with the Arizona Cardinals and the Denver Broncos, was the starting quarterback for the UFL's Houston Roughnecks in their season-opener against the Memphis Showboats.
Houston dropped the matchup 18-12, though Guarantano played well in his first UFL start.
The former Vol completed 16-of-21 passes for 157 yards and no interceptions. He also rushed for 22 yards and a touchdown on two carries. Guarantano's rushing touchdown was Houston's only touchdown of the day.
