Monticello, Minnesota 2025 QB/DB Luke Emmerich was officially offered by his home-state Gophers Monday, bringing his top list of FBS offers to 14 schools.

247sports ranks Emmerich as the No. 7 upcoming senior in the state of Minnesota. His offer list is flooded with some of the top schools in the country such as USC, Washington, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Michigan State.

Last season for the Magic, he played quarterback, wide receiver and defensive back. The Gophers are recruiting him as a defensive back. Listed at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds he is an impressive athlete with great versatility.

He has even run a reported 10.69s 100m dash on the track, competing for Monticello this spring.

With the No. 1 player in the state, LB Emmanuel Karmo (Robbinsdale Cooper) and WR Cameron Begalle (Andover) already committed, Emmerich would be the third top-seven player in the state to stay home.

He has already unofficially visited Iowa State, Wisconsin, Nebraska and Minnesota. He is expected to let the recruiting process play out. May is typically a very important month for recruiting upcoming seniors, as coaches are allowed to visit in-person. So, this time next month we will have learned a lot.
