I'm not sure if you knew this or not, but the golf season is incredibly long (It's a shocking realization, I know). For most of the sport's top players, there's an opportunity to play almost every week during the year and pocket a nice paycheck in the process. However, following the Presidents Cup, players usually take a couple weeks off to decompress and enjoy Thanksgiving and the tryptophan-induced coma that's a staple of the holiday. But not every player takes a break. Gary Woodland and Matt Kuchar have instead made the conscious decision to represent the United States at the Mission Hills World Cup in China, which starts on Thursday. Kuchar, currently ranked No. 10 in the World Golf Rankings, clearly has his sights set on winning some more hardware, in another team event, for the country, after taking part in the Presidents Cup.
