Heading into the Malaysian Open, Padraig Harrington is up against a ''curveball.'' The three-time major winner has been looking for a replacement driver since his broke last week. ''I was very, very comfortable with the old driver, so having to get used to a new one always causes a little bit of anxiety,'' said Harington, adding he used a new driver last Sunday. ''It's thrown a bit of a curveball in my preparations and I'd dearly love to drive it well this week so that I have that confidence. ''I don't want to go home next week still looking for a driver and then possibly play in another tournament where I'm in doubt. The last thing I want is to be going to the Masters with any doubt.'' Third-ranked Luke Donald is also in the field for the tournament, which starts Thursday at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club, along with Matteo Manassero and Charl Schwartzel. ''I've felt a lot more comfortable with my game in the last couple of weeks, and a lot more in control of the golf ball,'' Donald said. ''The game feels like it's trending in the right direction. We've got the Masters in a few weeks' time and I'm excited about that.'' Last year's winner, Louis Oosthuizen, will be missing this time, but Thomas Aiken is in the field along with two other European Tour tournament winners this year, Chris Wood and Scott Jamieson.
