Hunter Mahan used a 5-iron to make a hole-in-one on Conway Farms' 210-yard 17th hole in the BMW Championship third round Saturday. And it was no ordinary ace for reasons beyond the fact his ball got a good bounce off of a mound.

New dad Hunter Mahan withdraws from Bridgestone
Hunter Mahan has withdrawn from the Bridgestone Invitational to spend time at home with his newborn daughter.
