Thai golfer Thongchai Jaidee is so close to qualifying for his third Masters that he's desperate to ensure it by winning the Avantha Masters this week from a host of European and Asian Tour winners.

Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee survived a poor start to win the Wales Open by 1 stroke on Sunday, with a final round 1-over 72 in in wet conditions.
