Oklahoma high school runs up score by throwing full court pass for slam dunk with only one second left in game (Video)

In Oklahoma, the Vinita High boys basketball team scored a basket on a slam dunk with only one second left on the clock against Locust Grove High...on an inbounds pass from the opposite baseline. It was a great looking play, except for one problem: Vinita High was already winning by 12 points. Here's what happened: With one second left in the game, Locust Grove High makes a free throw to cut Vinita's lead to 52-40. Vinita should have been content with simply inbounding the ball and letting the last second tick off the clock to seal the victory. Instead, Vinita's Garret Maxey heaved the ball from the baseline towards the other end of the court. With no Locust Grove players back on defense, the ball bounced perfectly on the opposite free throw line and up in the air for Vinita's Jake Bullard, who caught the ball in the air and threw it down for the slam dunk.
