TEAMS: Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees

"We're down but we're still breathing." -Charlie after last night's loss
I don't want this season, and this amazing run, to end -- not tonight at least, not like this. If the Phillies do what they're capable of, it won't.
Charlie Manuel wanted Cliff Lee to pitch on regular rest from the get-go. We'll see if that decision pays dividends this evening when a rested Lee faces A.J. Burnett who will pitch on 3-days rest for the Yankees. Both starters were dominant in their previous starts, but many New Yorkers question the decision to throw Burnett on short rest.
It's clear the Phillies backs are against the wall. It's win tonight or give up your title as WFC.
There's one roster note for the Yankees with Melky Cabrera being replaced by Ramiro Pena due to Cabrera tweaking his hammy last night. I'm sad to see Melky and his acting like a 10-year-old antics go.
The final baseball game of the 2009 season at Citizen Bank Park will be played tonight with the series heading back to New York for games six and seven, but it may not be the last time there's an event at CBP. I'd like to be there one more time this year when Chase Utley walks up to the microphone to tell us how he feels. It can still happen.
Game four was a roller coaster ride that ended with the car off the tracks. Pedro Feliz's home run excited this fanbase and this city like we all remember 2008 feeling like. Those feelings can be felt again. Coming back from being down 3-1 is a hard, hard road to walk down. But it's not impossible. This is baseball. The Phillies can't win the World Series tonight, but they can win a game and send it back to New York.
They're down but there's life left in these guys. I'm hoping for history to happen.
