After getting snubbed from the Gold Gloves, two New York Yankees were recipients of a 2011 Silver Slugger Award. So congratulations are in order, for outfielder Curtis Granderson and second baseman Robinson Cano who both consistently produced at the plate throughout the 2011 season. The Yankees also owe HUGE thanks to batting coach Kevin Long, who has been instrumental in the entire teams success at the plate.
