Bryan Morris pitched 3 2/3 scoreless innings of relief with 3 strikeouts. Jake Fox was 2 for 4. Jeff Clement went 1 for 4 with a double. Eric Fryer was 1 for 4 with a double. Gorkys Hernandez went 1 for 3 with a double and also threw a base runner out at home. Altoona 11, Erie 8 – Matt McSwain started and gave up 2 runs over 5 innings. Duke Welker pitched 2 scoreless innings of relief. Robbie Grossman was 3 for 5 with a double, a triple, a walk, and a stolen base.
