It’s baseball time again in Redleg Nation. Tonight, the Reds open a three game series with the hated Chicago White Sox. Stupid White Sox.

Well, I want to see the Reds beat them, too. Of course, I’ll actually be watching the Carolina Mudcats tonight...

White Sox captain Paul Konerko spoke of it last season: the hangover that can affect a team staggering out of the Sox-Cubs series. Baseball's annual Civil Rights Game started by paying tribute Saturday to those who have worked for equality, including former home run king Hank Aaron. The White Sox took it from there, with Alexei Ramirez hitting the last of four Chicago homers for a 10-8 victory over the Cincinnati Reds.

The first scheduled game in the White Sox-Cubs series was rained out and yesterday's went to the White Sox. Gavin Floyd and Carlos Zambrano do battle this afternoon as the Cubs looks to even the series.
