The New York Mets would apparently love to unload closer Billy Wagner(notes), according to ESPN. The team has reportedly put him on waivers just before he is set to return from a long stay on the disabled list. And he is apparently ready to waive his no-trade clause.
Anybody who takes Wagner will have to shell our about $2.7 million for the rest of this season in addition to a $1 million buyout for next year. Unless for some crazy reason Wagner's new team wants to pick up his $8 millio...
