People are going to look at the box score and see that Dave Bush took the loss on Thursday night and immediately put the blame on him. While he did only pitch five innings and gave up nine hits and six runs, Bush showed positive signs by not walking anybody. After giving up a two-run home run to Jason Bay in the fourth, Bush appeared visibly shaken and was never able to recover.

Sheets completes gem against Pirates

Ben Sheets came into his start Wednesday night against the Pirates looking to rebound from his horrible outing against the Dodgers last week. Not only did Sheets rebound, he pitched his second complete game of the season.
