SAN DIEGO — As expected, right-handed reliever Manuel Corpas will be back in a Rockies uniform for tonight’s game against the Padres.
Corpas was officially reinstated from the 15-day disabled list. To make room on the 25-man roster, the club designated right-handed reliever Matt Belisle for assignment to Triple-A Colorado Springs.

The Colorado Rockies went into the All-Star break on the high of winning a game in which they were down by four runs entering the seventh inning and winning on a walk-off hit by Brad Hawpe.
After a great run starting at the beginning of June and lasting into July the fear was that the Rockies would have a chance to take a breath at the break and lose the momentum that they had gained...

Having watched Carl Crawford steal Brad Hawpe’s glory moment in this year’s mid-season classic, I’ll take a look at the Rockies’ most storied all star seasons since the team’s inception in 1993.
