PLAYERS: Brian Moehler
TEAMS: Chicago Cubs

Just a couple of things. Lilly pitched a very good game. Fukudome needs to be moved down to the 8th spot in the order. He is not good at baseball. Zambrano's offensive VORP is almost equal to Fukudome's in 330 fewer plate appearances. Brian Moehler pitched around Ryan fucking Theriot with a runner on 2nd to face Fukudome. Very good defender, but sucks ass at the plate.

Cubs Fall Out The Gate

What? Great. Cubs 0-2, Cards 3-0, Brewers 2-0 since Break. Cubs lose two to the (used to be) cellar dweller. F_ckin' Skippy. Lilly loses and the Ace, Z, loses (and gives up six walks). WTF?!?!?!?!?If this team doesn't learn how to play on the road soon enough, especially a "offensively good", right-handed dominated team, at the Band Boxes of ALL Band Boxes...

Pathetic

2 runs in 18 innings, 2 losses of course as the Cubs try to piss away the division. Pretty good job so far as St. Louis is only 2 out and Milwaukee is 3 out.

How many games will the Brewers win?

Tyger asked if I could do the Brewers and Cardinals like I did the Cubs earlier today. I probably won't get to the Cardinals until tomorrow at the earliest, but I did do the Brewers who everybody seems to think is the Cubs toughest competitor in the NL Central. The Brewers already have 52 wins. A replacement level team would win 19.6 of the remaining 67 games. The Brewers...

How many games will the Cubs win?

I'm going to post the math behind this later on, but thought I would just throw it out there right now to see what you guys think.
