According to a report from Bruce Levine from ESPN 1000 in Chicago, Carlos Zambrano will be placed on the 15-day DL on Saturday. The Cubs will likely recall Jeff Stevens from Triple-A Iowa to take his place on the roster. Carlos Zambrano flew back to Chicago on Saturday morning for a MRI on his back.
