ESPN.com's Rob Neyer says Kevin Millwood isn't deserving of an All-Star bid, though he'll probably get one. Neyer uses fan graphs to illustrate that Millwood has left a large number of baserunners stranded and benefitted from defense. Basically, Millwood is pitching like he did in 2007 in most categories and getting lucky.

The Rangers have said they don't want Hamilton to return to the lineup until his timing is right and he is centering balls regularly. He definitely needs another game tomorrow.

Rangers lead 9-4 after five
The offense has teed off on Rays pitching, and Derek Holland has had only one difficult inning as the Rangers lead 7-4. He is back out for the sixth after allowing a three-run homer to Dioner Navarro in the fifth. Holland enters the sixth having thrown 80 pitches. Jason Grilli is warmed up and ready to go if needed this frame.

Josh Hamilton has batted twice in two innings at Principal Park and has grounded out twice. He bounced out to first base to end the second inning with runners at first and second. Hamilton led off the game by grounding out to pitcher J.R. Mathes.
