    HOF here he comes -- this guy doesn't get enough credit in the States. He would own Pete Rose's record had he played in the States long enough.

    Not only would he have owned Roses record, but I'll bet,(no pun intended), he would not have gambled on the game either. In that way allowing nothing to keep him out of the hall. He may not be the most powerful, but he is one of the best pure hitters I have ever seen. While Ted Williams was before my time, I saw how good he was on film, and Ichiro is just as good as the Splendid Splinter ever was.
