Cubs Hub:
Here's an in-depth look at the 2007 amateur draft. This draft could be very important to the Cubs' future success as they have the 3rd overall selection and the 48th overall pick. They lost their 2nd rounder for the signing of Soriano but it's better than last year where Chicago only they lost their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks for the signings of Howry and Eyre. This draft is very deep in high-risk high-reward high school talents along with a few impact college talents here and there. Inside you'll find the draft order, the Cubs' draft history, along with scouting reports on 25 of my Top 75 Draft Talents.
