Xavier Nady DH'ed in a simulated today down in Tampa and went 2-for-3. He also took part in a throwing drill prior to the game, where he made several throws to second and third base.

Nady will now head to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to begin a minor-league rehab assignment starting on Wednesday.
  • According to the NY Post, Nady had this to say: "It feels stronger each day and the pain is slowly going away."
