Seattle Times:
The Mariners just put out a release stating that Ken Griffey Jr. underwent knee surgery today in Cincinnati to remove a bone spur from his left knee. They state that it's normally a four-to-six-week recovery process.
Dr. Timothy Kremchek performed the surgery.
The Mariners have yet to announce officially whether or not Griffey will return next season.
