Lo Duca is scheduled for an MRI today and if all is well he should be back behind the plate on August 27th, when the Mets open up a four game series at Citizens Bank Park against the Phillies. Ramon Castro exited yesterday's game in the third inning with pain in his lower back, so Lo Duca might be missed more than originally thought. Castro is listed as day-to-day and if he does miss any time, look for Mike DeFelice to take the starting catcher job until Castro is able to return.

Shea hasn't carved out much of a place in my heart. Save for one part of it, the apple. Out in centerfield, there's a top hat emblazoned with "Home Run" and when a Met hits one the letter light up and the apple raises up to celebrate the feat.
