Jason McCallum of ESPN Research compiled numbers bearing out the crazy injury situation the Mets have had this year: They've lost 18 All-Star appearances to the DL, in addition to 1,066 HR, 4,091 RBIs and a combined 2009 salary of $94.8 million, which is greater than the Opening Day payroll of 18 teams.
