SoDo Mojo:
With the current injuries to Russell Branyan, Adrian Beltre, and Ichiro, we’ve been putting out some of the worst lineups I’ve ever seen. We’re incredibly lucky that the brunt of these injuries has come during a homestand featuring the A’s and the Royals. But, even though both of those teams (especially the Royals) are terrible, [...]

If You Can’t Joke About A Torn Testicle You Have No Sense Of Humor
So Adrian Beltre comes back after tearing a testicle last month. Yes, I know what you’re thinking (ow ow ow ow) but it turns out it’s something you can recover from reasonably quick. Upon returning, he even decided to wear a cup for the first time since high school. Seems reasonable. But that doesn’t mean [...]
Branyan Disabled
Russell Branyan does on the disabled list with a herniated disk. Not that the Mariners are really still in the race, but with both Ichiro and Branyan hurt, they’re left without much offense.

Adrian Beltre's Nuts Are Okay
Adrian Beltre has been activated from the 15-day disabled list, meaning his lacerated bleeding testicles are fully healed. The emotional scarring may never disappear, however.

Who will the Seattle Mariners add in September?
This season is rapidly winding down, with the Mariners managing to finish August a game over .500 for the month despite last night's 10-0 demolition at the hands of a superior Angels squad. Things could improve slightly with the additions of Ichiro and Adrian Beltre, but don't expect instant fixes. Bith haven't played in a while.

Mike Carp, Jason Vargas promoted by Mariners; Adrian Beltre activated off DL
The Mariners have begun their September callups, bringing up first baseman Mike Carp and lefthanded pitcher Jason Vargas from Class AAA Tacoma. The team is by no means finished adding, but the AAA season is still going on.
Carp was a no-brainer, given the injury to first baseman Russell Branyan.
