Brandon McCarthy, you've been owned, but it could have been worse. Guillen never called out McCarthy's orientation. Jay Mariotti wasn't so fortunate last year. Guillen may be a prick, he may be an ass, but he's sure as hell entertaining. Ozzie drove McCarthy back where he belonged: the world of irrelevance.

  • This is my favorite quote by Guillen, "There's one thing about Ozzie Guillen: Ozzie Guillen is never negative." He then follows that up immediately with the most negative comment I've heard a manager make about a player. "He forgot he lost a couple of games for us. He lost at least five of the 72. We might be in the playoffs without him." Ozzie Guillen is a dick.

    I could just imagine what an inspiration he has to be on a team. A guy like his you just dont want to let down. It goes beyond wanting to win, you dont want to dissapoint someone who goes to battle for you everyday.
