The Mets second best pitching prospect is trying to dispel the label of reliever. Robert Parnell has been projected as a top reliever but the pitching prospect has been starting since selected by the Mets in 2005. His first year wasn't very note worthy in 2006 but in 2007 he started 29 games going 8-8 with a 4.19 ERA between FSL and Binghamton.
