Fox Sports:
Jake Peavy is frustrated that he can't seem to get healthy enough to pitch for the Chicago White Sox.
The right-hander was acquired from San Diego at the July 31 trade deadline. He has been on the disabled list since June 13 with a strained tendon in his right ankle and was struck on his pitching elbow during a minor league rehab assignment, leading to more problems.
Peavy says he wants to help the team and hopes to play catch Friday to see how he's feeling.
