Right-handed reliever Tom Gordon has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with right elbow inflammation, according to the team Web site. Beerleaguer: Gordon has appeared in four games since missing 11 days with a sore right shoulder. He pitched yesterday, allowing a run in 2-3 of an inning.
