Puskar - AP Browse more photos » I don't know what's weirdest about this game: -That the Pirates beat the Brewers? -That the Pirates actually hit very well? -That Andy LaRoche and Ronny Cedeno (and Garrett Jones) homered? -That Matt Capps didn't blow the game? -That Lastings Milledge somehow looked reasonably fast in stealing a base. All in all, the Pirates played pretty well, even if no lead felt safe. Kevin Hart allowed four runs but generally was decent; he ran out of steam in the sixth but threw nasty breaking pitches and racked up grounders before that. And six Bucs, including Hart himself, racked up two or more hits. One bit of bad news today: Jose Tabata left the Indianapolis Indians' game in the fifth inning, apparently because of some sort of leg injury. It would be a shame if he missed substantial time--his performance earlier this season at Altoona was, though acceptable, uninspiring; only after being promoted to Indy a few weeks ago has he really gotten things going. I'm not sure yet of the nature of the exact nature of the injury, but I'd hate to see a minor-league DL stint bring that to a stop. He was 2-for-3 in the game tonight before the injury.
