Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton received a third injection for a pinched nerve in his back on Friday, and the two-time All-Star won't be available for "at least seven days" according to general manager Jon Daniels.
Hamilton, who missed his seventh consecutive game Friday night against the Seattle Mariners, was in California on Friday for a root-nerve epidural from back specialist Dr. Robert Watkins.
Daniels said he doesn't think Hamilton will be out for the rest of the season.
