Michael Young is out testing his strained left hamstring right now. He's running the bases right now, going from first to third. He's getting a chance to get outside now that it's not raining. Ian Kinsler just walked up and is watching as well.
There is no timetable yet for Young's return. We'll see how he felt after this last session.

The report from the clubhouse is that Michael Young has not suffered a setback with his pulled left hamstring but rather a jolt of reality. He feels it would be best to give the injury another day or two, so he exited in the third innings. He went 0-for-1 in his brief return.

A good first at-bat for Michael Young, who returned tonight from a pulled left hamstring. He saw eight pitches from Edgar Gonzalez before flying out the center field. The Rangers had runners at first and second with one out but didn't score.
The A's, though, plated an unearned run off Brandon McCarthy in the first and lead the Rangers 1-0.
