Through June 29, Ludwick was hitting just .227 with a .718 OPS. Last season, he hit .299 with a .966 OPS in his career year, with a whopping 37 home runs and 113 RBI. Many thought it was an outlier, but he had never gotten a chance to play everyday in the majors until then. In July, he's heating up and showing that he is no fluke.Roto Rush: Ryan Ludwick Rolling originally appeared on Fanhouse Fantasy Baseball on Wed, 22 Jul 2009 11:00:00 EDT . Cowlishaw game: Can the Rangers sweep?

Tommy Hunter went six innings last night, making Clay, Ranger Yammer, Jessi from Plano, A Jizzle, luda, Dierk and Stan look good. And to get a winner, it came down to pitch counts and the other categories. Hunter's line: 6 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 2 K, 85 pitches. Stan and Ranger Yammer had: 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 3 BB and 3 Ks. Forget Pitching, These Texas Rangers Need an Impact Bat

The hot topic around baseball as the trade deadline nears is all about Roy Halladay and where he will end up going, if anywhere.   The Texas Rangers have been linked to Halladay because they are one of the few teams with the caliber of prospects necessary to acquire the ace.   Perhaps my initial call for Halladay was a blind knee-jerk reaction to both the history of...

Rangers 6, Red Sox 3 (F)

You can view a replay of the in-game chat here. Discuss: • Big inning. It feels like the Rangers haven't had one since May.(actually, they had five runs in one inning against the Angels on July 1 and...
