Small bit of news today for the Phillies as the off-season officially gets underway, unfortunately.According to beat reporters Scott Lauber (link), Todd Zolecki (link) and Susan Lulgjuraj (link) right handed pitcher Scott Mathieson (pictured) has been added to the 40-man roster. What this means is that he would not be available for a team to acquire him through a Rule 5 draft. Mathieson is a pitching prospect who ended the 2009 season at triple A Lehigh Valley.
