Hey guys, glad I am back here with the Phanatic Phollow Up. Props to Mike to continue updating the blog. I am glad to be part of this great site. Okay, first things first, what the hell is this column about? If you look at the logo, it is entirely dedicated to nothing but Phillies baseball. Yes, that is true, but there is more to it. I talk about what has happened this week in Phillies baseball and I hope you enjoy this as much as Mike's series of Bunts and Balks. Okay, so let's get this thing started.Monday was the start of a three-game series between Philly and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Arizona looked like they were not ready to play against Philly, and it looks like what PhilliesNation.com predicted was right! The series was too easy as the first game ended in a 5-1 result. On Wednesday, the day for the second game of the series, the Phils dominated in a 8-1 win making Cy Young canidate Dan Haren to allowing six runs in just five innings. Cliff Lee performed very well, including a no-hitter in the sixth inning. Thursday was the end of the series as the Phillies dominated inside a 12-3 defeat. Joe Blanton performed well as Philly's pitching trio was starting to become dangerous. Everything was going swell. The Phils were now up for a series against the New York Mets. The Mets won the first round as they won 4-2 on Friday but the Phillies brought revenge in a 4-1 payback defeat. This week, the Phils are 4-1 and have been red-hot. The season is ending and the Phillies look to strive. This is the Philadelphia Phillies weekly. More posts to the column coming soon, so if you are up for it, keep coming to the Phanatic Phollow Up and Phillies Patrol. SourcesPhillies Nation
