Miguel Olivo would be a solid option for our catching vacancy but if the Royals keep him then they may need to move either Pena or Buck. The Royals have three days to decide on Olivo's option which is 3.3M, if they pick-it up but he declines ( mutual option) then he gets 100k buyout...Olivo, 31, had a career-best and club-leading 23 homers last season and exhibited better defense in the closing weeks but still batted only .249 with a .292 on-base percentage.
