Rick Ankiel got the call today to join the St.Louis Cardinals as an outfielder. This is an amazing story. You might remember that Ankiel was a pitching phenom before having some extremely strange control problems. After deciding to give up pitching, he was so determined to make it back to the majors that he became an outfielder and has now made his comeback complete.

I guess it's fair to at least play the "where will A-Rod end up going" game a little early - hopefully we really get to start playing when the Yankees miss the playoffs *crossing fingers* - but this is just a bit insane. Or maybe inane is the accurate word. I mean, at least be realistic if you're going to paint the scenario.
