The first report was from Brewers.com, via Twitter: Brewers acquire CF Carlos Gomez from Minnesota in exchange for SS J.J. Hardy. I did NOT see that coming.  It's been confirmed pretty much everywhere. According to MLBTradeRumors, thanks to Hardy's midseason demotion in '09, he's under team control for 2010 and 2011.
